From 1998-2011, Amy was the sole female writer/arranger/vocalist in Grammy-nominated, genre-busting "band without instruments" The Bobs. She made her Off-Broadway debut in 2017 as composer/lyricist of BASTARD JONES, an Off-Broadway Alliance Best New Musical nominee. . Other theatrical writing credits: TRIPTYCH (NY Transit Museum commission), Carl Sagan's CONTACT (Center Stage Seattle - Puget Sound Theatre Award), and A COMEDY OF ERAS (ACT Seattle w/Flying Karamazov Brothers). Amy co-created TUNE IN TIME: New York’s Musical Theater Game Show (York Theatre), won the Manhattan Association of Cabarets’ Burman Award for Songwriting and has been nominated for numerous MAC and BroadwayWorld awards for her writing and solo shows. Amy was honored to participate in the Nautilus Composer/Librettist Studio in Los Angeles and the 2020 National Playwrights Winter Retreat (developing IMPACT). As a session and concert singer, her credits include the films Jurassic World, Real Steel and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. During the holidays, she joins Harry Shearer (The Simpsons, Spinal Tap) and Judith Owen in CHRISTMAS WITHOUT TEARS. She’s featured on their EP alongside Catherine O’Hara and Jane Lynch. As Mother Superior of the (satanic) Chattering Order of St. Beryl in Amazon Prime’s GOOD OMENS promo campaign, Amy recently led rock-belting nuns through the series premieres in London, New York and Austin’s South by Southwest, and produced their EP Unholy Night, released on Amazon Music. She is the only honorary female member of the Vienna Boys Choir. Amy swears that her second solo pop album, FINISH WHAT YOU, will be done in 2020. ASCAP/Dramatists Guild/SAG member.
