Emily is a Santa Cruz native, and has worked in the greater Bay Area as a stage manager for the last decade. Her work on such Cabrillo College shows as Streamers, The Grapes of Wrath, and PL8 lead to her being hired as an intern for Cabrillo Stage's Scrooge (2009). Since then, she has assistant stage managed at Cabrillo Stage from 2010-2014, stage managed Cabrillo College's Death (2013), Spelling Bee (2013), Harold and Maude (2014) and Fox at the Fairway (2015) at Los Altos Stage Company, Cabrillo Stage’s Putting it Together (2014) and Schoolhouse Rock (2015), A Christmas Carol (2017) and Into The Woods (2019) with CYT, and most recently Expectation the Musical (2019) with Twin Lakes Church. She was set to return to Cabrillo Stage this summer to helm their run of Kinky Boots (2020), but the summer festival has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis. She would like to thank her husband, Jonny, as their whole tribe, for their endless love and support. She dedicates her work to her late sister, Amanda, who inspired her journey into and love of stagecraft.
